Ambuluwawa enjoys a pleasant climate year-round, but the months between December and April offer the most comfortable temperatures. However, these months also coincide with peak tourist season, leading to potential crowds. For sunny skies and fewer crowds, consider April-May or September-October.

Sri Lanka experiences monsoon seasons, with the heaviest rainfall from May to September and November to December. While rain showers are possible throughout the year, they’re often brief and refreshing. Pack a light raincoat or umbrella just in case.
